Sepsis is a life-threatening illness caused by your body’s response to an infection. The recommendations have been highlighted for media and clinicians in the Society of Critical Care Medicines 45th Critical Care Congress in Orlando, Florida and are published in the Feb 2016.
Over 30 societies from six continents have endorsed the groups recommendations, spanning disciplines to illness and family practice from emergency medicine and critical care.
