Product Description

From October 1st, the new additions, revisions, and deletions to the ICD-10-CM coding manual will become effective for all providers. The International Classification of Diseases, Version 10- Clinical Modifications, or ICD-10-CM, is maintained by the World Health Organization (WHO). Offices will have to update their systems and forms that include ICD-10-CM Code that may be effective and which understand the rationale of changes.

If healthcare providers do not submit valid ICD-10-CM codes, there claims will be denied for reimbursement, and corrections will need to be made before the claim can be considered for payment.  This causes delays which has can cause revenue problems for the healthcare provider. This session will review the highlighted key areas and changes that you need to be aware off.
