From October 1st, the new additions, revisions, and deletions to the ICD-10-CM coding manual will become effective for all providers. The International Classification of Diseases, Version 10- Clinical Modifications, or ICD-10-CM, is maintained by the World Health Organization (WHO). Offices will have to update their systems and forms that include ICD-10-CM Code that may be effective and which understand the rationale of changes.
